Welcome to Frank A. Mentzel

The Founding and Charter Members of the Society extend a warm welcome to Frank A. Mentzel, a distinguished Sherlockian who shares with the boy in buttons the delightful possession of a poor memory, thereby allowing each of them to constantly re-read the Sacred Canon as if it is for the first time! His biography on Sherlockian Who’s Who states: I am a life-long Sherlockian who is active in several local scion societies. Having a very poor memory, every time I read an Adventure, it’s as if I am reading it for the first time.  I am an avid reader of the many pastiches available.

Mr. Mentzel is also a member of the following:

» The  Six Napoleons of Baltimore
