  1. In “Sherlock” we learned that John Watson’s blog counter was stuck at 1895. Your calendar appears to be stuck at 1887. Chronologists differ on the dating of “Shoscombe Old Place” – as early as 1883 or as late as 1902 – but no one, I think, has yet suggested that it took place in 1887!
